The Edna Project at the Camden Opera House
Friday Oct 24, 2025 - 7:30pm EDT
The Edna Project sets the poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay to music by Liz Queler and Seth Farber. This eclectic, imaginative celebration in song spans folk, bluegrass, rock and jazz. Partners in marriage and music, Liz and Seth are both three-time Grammy nominees. “The Edna Project" CD became both the inspiration and score for "Still Will Be Heard," their first theater piece.
Doors open 7 p.m. FMI about our wheelchair seating or other accessibility questions, please email dernest@camdenmaine.gov or call (207) 236-3154. Tickets, attached to emailed confirmation, are nonrefundable.
Presented in partnership with The Millay House, a nonprofit organization that champions poets, as well as creators and practitioners of all the arts. Central to its mission is rejuvenating the literary landmark that is the birthplace of the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet: Edna St. Vincent Millay was born in Rockland, Maine, on Feb. 22, 1892.
Gather for drinks before the show at First Fig, next to the Opera House, named for the iconic “Vincent” poem.
