Poems are around us all the time – the daily inspires memory, the ground under our feet speaks to the wonder in each day, even as the news troubles the world, and our dreams bring emotions to the surface. We are on our way. How we bring ourselves to this moment, allowing awareness to expand outward using the senses, our thoughts, memories and ideas as fertile ground, will guide writing prompts. By paying attention to these sources, we will discover emerging paths for our poems.
